Longyou steamed sponge cake is a specialty of Longyou County, Quzhou, and a national geographical indication product of China. It is made with unique craftsmanship and exquisite ingredients. The finished product is as white as jade, the hole as thin as a needle, the smell fresh and fragrant, the food sweet but not greasy, glutinous but not sticky. Its most distinct feature is that it is fermented by adding appropriate amount of glutinous rice wine in the production process, which is rich in nutrients and especially suitable for the elderly and children.
